My grandpa first stepped onto the stage at the Texas Star Inn in his 20s, and on March 7, 2026, my band and I got to share that same stage with him—now in his 70s.

It meant so much to me knowing I was standing where he once stood at my age, all those years later. Sharing that moment with him and my bandmates felt dreamlike, as if the past and present weren’t separate at all but somehow woven together.
